FIC: "Landslide", gen, FRT

Oh, look, I wrote gen? how did that happen? I suppose because I wrote it for the Drunken!Giles ficathon. Giles gets an unexpected visitor on the longest night of the year.

"Day Shift," Buffy/Giles, FRAO

This was written back in September as a pick-me-up for [info]kivrin, who was having a hard day.

Day Shift )

"Date Night", Buffy/Giles, FRT

No sex, but some very high-calorie Italian foods. Thanks again to [info]kivrin for a useful prompt.

Date Night )

"Adonai", Giles/Ethan, FRAO

This is a Giles/Ethan story written as a pinch-hit for [info]antennapedia's Antique Roman ficathon, for a request from Antenna herself. It contains explicit sex and a large helping of magical ritual. Further notes to follow the story. Thanks to [info]kivrin for thoughtful beta.

"Show Me How It's Done", B/G/E, FRAO

I was drunk. They were drunk. And they made me do this: Buffy/Giles/Ethan.

Show Me How It's Done )

"An Intimate Conversation", B/G, FRAO

I gave this prompt to [info]antennapedia and then stole it back: Buffy and Giles, in a sexual context, talking about Giles's relationship with Ethan Rayne. So this is B/G with G/E in the background.

An Intimate Conversation )

"Diwali", Giles/Tara, FRAO

A follow-up to "Monsoon" and, like that story, inspired by a prompt given by [info]kivrin. Thanks to her and [info]antennapedia for reading along and giving a quick beta. This is a post-"Chosen" AU in which Buffy has died but Tara has not.

"Monsoon", Giles/Tara, FRAO

This came out of a prompt from [info]kivrin, which became the title. It seems to be set in an AU future, post-series perhaps, where Buffy has died but Tara is still alive.

Monsoon )

"Overdressed", Giles/Xander, FRT

You can blame this one on [info]antennapedia, too. She gave me the first two sentences as a prompt.

Overdressed )

"Expectations", B/G, FRAO

Another Buffy/Giles fic that seems to be in the same mental space as "Belly Good" and "The Mountain of Myrrh".

"The Mountain of Myrrh", Buffy/Giles, FRAO

A companion piece to "Belly Good". Buffy is insecure; Giles waxes Biblical.

Three Short Gilesfics

Water, a drabble
Buffy/Giles

"You don’t drink enough. Here." Giles handed her a bottle of water.

Buffy drank it in one long pull, her fingers flexing on the plastic. Giles watched her fingers flex, her throat pulse, her breasts rise and fall with exertion, then more slowly, as the moment slipped away and the water soaked into her. His gaze soaked into her.

She handed him the empty bottle and he tucked it into the rucksack, for recycling later. She was looking at him oddly. "You were watching me."

"I’m your Watcher."

"Not like that. Not before."

"Yes. Always. Do you need more water?"

Incense, a drabble
Giles/Xander

Xander had to wonder if there were drugs in that incense, because Giles was looking unusually hot tonight.

Actually, he was looking hot in both a literal sense and in what Xander guessed was a metaphorical sense. There were beads of sweat on his forehead. His sideburns were dark and shiny with wet. He had shed one shirt and sweat was gleaming in the hollow of his throat. Giles had a really nice throat, strong but smooth, and Xander wanted to bite it. In a totally non-vampy way.

Giles raised the sword. Xander kept on wondering if he'd been drugged.

Belly Good
after a poem by Marge Piercy
Buffy/Giles

Buffy ran her hands down Giles's chest to his stomach. Certainly no washboard abs here, no smooth perfection of temporary or eternal youth. Under coarse hair, increasingly coarse as it approached his groin, the skin was tender, a little slack; she knew he did crunches every day, but there was a little shield of fat over those muscles, of Scotch and desk-sitting and those special biscuits he imported from England. Her fingers sank lower, from the dip just below his sternum to the territory below his navel. Here was no tidy trail of hair pointing down to his dick, but a wild thatch from hip to hip that merged with his pubic hair. His balls were pretty hairy, too.

Buffy curled her hand around her lover's cock, rising to meet her curiosity. She looked at Giles, and he was glancing away, that thing he did to hide his feelings when he didn't have his glasses on. She squeezed and he met her eyes, startled.

"I like real bodies," she said, smiling.
